Continuing our regular visit to the Local History Scrapbooks, we recently highlighted the money raising efforts of the Methodist Church to help pay for their new Church, in a recent article, click here.
On the 7th April 1984 the new Tarvin Methodist Church was officially opened!
The work cost nearly £140,000 of which local members raised £20,000. The new building provided a modern church, a meeting room, and a Sunday school on the second floor, and, the congregations of Zion (Lower High St) and Trinity (originally on this site) were united
